TOXIC RELATIONSHIP AMONG CAMPUS STUDENTS

 Something toxic simply means something that is harmful or unhealthy. so,as you know its every child's dream to reach campus and when the dream comes true the excitement rate increases but the problem becomes after interacting with people of different social class whereby others are just faking their lifestyle . The students then start making friends  and as a result of peer pressure most of the girl child will want to be seen dating a stable man,always in an expensive dress code . They suddenly forget about who they truly are  since everyone wants to be in a given social status like some students they interact with ,this will increase the chances of getting ways to impress their fellows in suiting their thirst for stable lifestyle.

Male students are not mostly affected compared to female students that's why you will find more deaths on female than on male since they become too much depressed but there is no one to trust to share with your relationship challenges because they won't keep secret hence one become depressed until they decide to commit suicide. Campus students also engages on substance abuse this is as a result of influence by their partners where they become addictive thereafter especially the female students become sexually abused by their partners hence they become the most affected in relationship ,the victim often knows the abuser well and is reluctant to report this person since they fear they will be troubled or justice won't be served.  If there is no justice served for those raped, they become emotionally traumatized.  Toxic relationship among campus students may also be caused by factors such as lack of care and trust from one another,disrespect among the involved partners ,lack of fulfilment ,mental illness and substance abuse.

The institutions should provide information on risks of involving in toxic relationships and advice students on how to go about their relationship .Guidance and counselling groups should also be encouraged to advice the students on love matters.
